about me

I started taking guitar lessons in 1988 and it was the start of the down hill run from that point on. My school work started becoming pretty ordinary(is that how you spell it?) and it didn't take long until I stopped training in athletics and therefore had to give up my place in the 1992 olympic games running team.

Alright, maybe I'm stretching the truth a little bit, but I guess I'm just trying to make you see that music started to take over my life. After many years in garage bands and a year or so busking I decided to take music on as a serious thing. In the past 6 years I have moved around a lot and played in a whole lotta places.

I spent 2 years in Canberra and the surrouning districts and a few years in different parts of Queensland playing solo and with different bands. I now have a couple of original acts. "The Noodies"(www.myspace.com/thenoodies) that plays folk festivals a couple of times a year. Recently I've teamed up with fiddle player Lowana O'Shea and formed the duo, "The Bards". I'm still playing solo gigs but always prefer the company of others on those big lonely stages.... O.K., so they're small crowd filled carpets, but give me a little poetic licence here will ya!!!

That's about it. If you want some more serious info, follow the links and I'll try to keep you on the straight and narrow.

Hope to see you around.
